[Toy Fair] NECA’s Ultimate Roy Burns Figure from ‘A New Beginning’ is Coming Later This Year

It of course wasn’t actually Jason Voorhees but paramedic/Jason impostor Roy Burns who did all the killing in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, and NECA has recently been teasing that an “Ultimate” Roy action figure was in the works. At Toy Fair this weekend, they’ve got Ultimate Roy on display for the first time, set for release Quarter 2, 2019.

The “instruments of death” that’ll be included with the new Roy figure include a machete, cleaver, knife, road flare, shears, belt, sharp metal pole, stick and tent spike.

He also includes two heads: “Jason Mask” and “Unmasked.”

In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…

  • 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
  • Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
  • Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
  • Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging
