“So are we just going to ignore the bear there?”
Nobody has faith in their own movies quite like A24 does, and we sure do love them for that. Take Ari Aster’s Midsommar, for example, which A24 released wide in theaters despite the film having decidedly low levels of mass appeal. They’ve consistently proven that they’re willing to take gambles to bring challenging cinema to theaters, and that’s a beautiful thing.
Speaking of beautiful things, A24 has announced today that a limited number of “Bear in a Cage” toys are being released this week, celebrating the release of Midsommar!
The 6″ x 3″ x 4″ hand-stained pinewood cage with Midsommar engraving has a resin grizzly figurine inside. He comes wearing a custom hand-stitched flower garland and mini bell.
Limited to just 75 pieces, the “Bear in a Cage” toys will be available on July 10 for $32.
