McFarlane Unleashes Their New ‘Mortal Kombat’ and ‘Doom’ Action Figures at #SDCC!

Published

on

McFarlane Toys teased back in February that they picked up the Mortal Kombat license, and they previewed the figures with early concept art at Toy Fair later that month. At San Diego Comic-Con this week, McFarlane’s MK figures have finally been put on full display, giving us our first look at the Scorpion and Sub-Zero action figures headed our way soon.

Both figures are expected to arrive in October 2019.

Also on display this week is McFarlane’s upcoming action figure of the iconic “Doom Slayer” from the Doom video game franchise, which will be unleashed in November 2019.

Spirit Halloween’s New Animatronics This Year Include Michael Myers, Pennywise & Ghostface!

Published

on

This year’s Spirit Halloween theme is Welcome to Camp Harbor Lake, which we can expect to see on full display in store when Spirit Halloween returns on the road to October. In the meantime, Spirit Halloween has released a video previewing this year’s new animatronics!

This year’s new lineup of Spirit Halloween animatronics includes a brand new Michael Myers animatronic that measures 6-foot, 6-inches tall. It’s based on John Carpenter’s original classic and features an animated head that turns side-to-side, and knife-wielding hand that moves up and down. The animatronic also plays both the main title theme and Laurie’s Theme!

We’re also getting a new animatronic of Pennywise based on the HBO series “IT: Welcome to Derry,” fully covered with blood up to his nose. It was by far the coolest new Pennywise look from the series, and it looks awesome in the form of a Spirit Halloween animatronic.

Spirit Halloween is also teasing a new Ghostface animatronic that looks to be based on Scream 3?! Ghostface appears to be wearing a bulletproof vest with bullet holes, but they haven’t yet revealed full details about this one. The mask is also outfitted with a bleeding effect.

Previously revealed, we’re getting a killer animatronic of the Xenomorph from the original Alien this year, with this year’s original animatronics including Carnival Creeper, Trash Bandit, Wind Up Wally, Buzz, Jeremy Jaws, Doomsday Duo, Bog Monster, Pumpkin Punisher, and more.

Preview the 2026 animatronic lineup below and head over to Spirit Halloween for more!
