Hate Candy Corn? It Hates You Too: Alex Pardee and Kidrobot Partner for Killer Candy Corn Vinyl Toy!
Every single Halloween season, the same conversation about one of the holiday’s most popular treats rears its ugly head. Candy corn: is it delicious or is it a tri-colored abomination?
That’s all up to personal taste, of course, but one thing we can say for certain is that in artist Alex Pardee‘s world, candy corn is most definitely a nasty little abomination.
Meet Cornelius, a twisted candy corn creation that was originally part of Pardee’s line of “Candemons” vinyl pins and has now been turned into a vinyl art toy by Kidrobot!
The limited edition toy asks the question, “What if candy corn has feelings? And what if its feelings are hurt? And what if it’s angry? And what if it were to sprout sharp teeth and come to life and stalk you around your living room, praying for you to trip and fall so that it could eat you alive as payback for your awful jokes at its expense?”
Cornelius, Kidrobot explains, is “the manifestation of every candy corn joke, soured and twisted inward and evolved into a grotesque, fanged and bloodthirsty beast!”
The toy stands approximately 7.5″ tall. The Melty Metallic Kidrobot.com Exclusive is limited to 250 pieces worldwide. It’s available October 8, 2019 at 9am PST, only at Kidrobot.com.

NECA Opens Official Image Gallery for ‘Savini Jason’ Action Figure from ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’
NECA had announced at Toy Fair that they’re releasing brand new Jason Voorhees action figures based on Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell, along with the Tom Savini-designed hellish Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th: The Game. The latter action figure has received an official image gallery from NECA today, showing it off in all its glory.
The Ultimate Savini Jason 7” Scale Action Figure will be released in Summer 2026.
NECA previews, “From Friday the 13th: The Game comes a new look for Jason Voorhees, designed by the legendary Tom Savini! This version imagines the character as if he fought Lucifer, took his infernal Trident, and climbed out of Hell to haunt Camp Crystal Lake!
“Featuring fiery skin and a demonic look, this fully articulated 7-inch scale action figure features interchangeable heads, including one with light piping for a glowing effect in the eyes. It also includes interchangeable hands, Devil’s Pitchfork, mask, and smoke effect accessory.”
Makeup effects legend Tom Savini of course designed the original Jason, seen in Friday the 13th (1980), as well as The Final Chapter‘s Jason, and “Savini Jason” was his interpretation of what might have happened to Jason after the epic finale of Jason Goes to Hell.
