Mezco’s “Owlman” from ‘Lord of Tears’ May Be the Creepiest Living Dead Doll Ever Made

Published

on

Mezco‘s Living Dead Dolls tend to be cute and cuddly even when the characters being represented are absolutely terrifying, but as it turns out, there’s just no way to make the Owlman *not* creepy. Now up for pre-order is Mezco’s Living Dead Doll based on the 2013 Scottish horror film Lord of Tears, bringing the viral Owlman to toy shelves for the first time.

In Lawrie Brewster’s supernatural horror film, a school teacher is plagued by recurring nightmares and suspects his visions are linked to a dark incident from his past. Returning to his childhood home, he uncovers the disturbing truth. According to Cornish folklore, The Owlman is described as a human-sized owl with pointed ears, glowing eyes, and black pincer-like claws.

LDD Presents Lord of Tears: The Owlman features an all-new head sculpt depicting the unnerving creature. Dressed in a three-piece suit with his claws bursting from his sleeves, The Owlman is a nightmare that you’ll spend your whole life trying to forget.

LDD Presents Lord of Tears: The Owlman stands 10” tall and features 5 points of articulation. He is packaged in a window box, perfect for display.

Pre-order yours today for $46 and expect to receive it between May-July 2020.
