The last several years, Japanese company Kotobukiya has brought a handful of iconic horror characters into their line of “Bishoujo” (which translates to “beautiful girl”) statues. Yes, they’ve been turning male horror icons into female characters, kicking off the line with folks like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, Pinhead and Ash Williams.
Up next, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice gets the 1/7 scale treatment, with Kotobukiya’s unique take on the iconic green-haired character measuring right around 8.5″ tall.
The statue features the art of Shunya Yamashita, and the description details:
“Beetlejuice can be seen filing her nails while leaning against the tombstone as could be seen in the film. The black and white striped jacket is sculpted as a tailcoat, and is finely sculpted down to the tip of the coat. Beetlejuice’s fashionable looks can also be seen from the multiple watches on Beetlejuice’s wrist to the ring decorated with a large stone in the center!”
The PVC figure will be released in June 2020, selling for $110.
