Upcoming Board Game ‘Hocus Pocus: The Game’ Puts You Up Against the Sanderson Sisters
From Ravensburger, the makers of last year’s Jaws board game, comes a brand new board game this year that will allow you to battle the Sanderson sisters in Salem, Massachusetts.
Announced by ComicBook.com today, Hocus Pocus: The Game is headed our way this year!
The site details the tabletop game, “Two to six players will work together to stop the Sanderson witches before they can create a wicked potion. The new game features delightful fantasy illustrations of the Sanderson sisters and other characters from the movie, a wooden Binx token, and spells, quotes, and potions pulled straight out of the movie.”
You can expect to battle Salem’s sinister witches in August 2020.
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.

Hitting theaters June 5, 2026, Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”
