They’re here. They’ve been lurking in the shadows of Tall Oaks…

An alien invasion comes to slasher-inspired board game Mixtape Massacre with the brand new expansion Mixtape Massacre: Invasion, which just launched over on Kickstarter today.

Mixtape Massacre: Invasion is a the brand new expansion for Escape From Tall Oaks (EFTO), adding more to the world of Mixtape Massacre. This expansion adds new layers of gameplay to EFTO, including new rescues and new slasher battles while the survivors must work together to stop the oncoming alien invasion.

As the Invasion begins, cards are drawn that begin conquering important locations on the map. If all Invasion cards take hold of the town and our survivors fail to dismantle their plans, the mothership lands, spelling the end for Tall Oaks.

Dodge cards are also introduced adding an additional step to rescuing your pals as well as new Sidetracks causing side missions and events bigger than the game itself.

These new components and more bring an assortment of tricks and treats to Escape From Tall Oaks, making even the most skeptical survivor…a believer.

What’s in the box?

  • 20 Killer Scenes, Dude Cards
  • 10 Sidetracks Card
  • 10 Supply Cards
  • 4 U.F.O Tokens
  • 3 Slasher Character Pieces
  • 3 Slasher Profile Cards
  • 1 Rulebook

Mixtape Massacre: Invasion has a set goal of $10,000. By supporting the campaign, backers can contribute to various pledge levels to pre-order copies of Mixtape Massacre: Invasion, as well as additional rewards and add-ons exclusive to the Kickstarter Campaign. The expansion will come packed with these goodies and as the campaign progresses stretch goals will unlock even more cards, characters, and other additions to the world of Mixtape Massacre.

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone

Published

The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.

The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.

The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.

A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.

Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP

Hitting theaters June 5, 2026Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”

Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.

Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…

Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!

Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory WayansCraig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
