Christmas traditions have been creeping their way into the Halloween season in recent years, with Halloween wreaths and even trees becoming more and more popular. But what about advent calendars, you ask? Thanks to Jakks Pacific, this year will see the release of a Gremlins-themed advent calendar that can be used for Halloween or Christmas… and that’s not all.

Also on the way from Funko is a 13-Day Spooky Countdown Calendar that’s tailor made for the Halloween season, with each slot containing a mini POP! vinyl toy of a horror icon!

The 13 pocket-sized toys cover some of the most popular horror franchises, including The Shining, Annabelle, The Exorcist, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice and Friday the 13th.

On Friday, April 26th at 9am PT, Mattel Creations, Mattel’s e-commerce and content platform for creators, collaborations, and innovators, will be releasing the newest Monster High Skullector doll, Creature From the Black Lagoon!

In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…

  • 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
  • Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
  • Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
  • Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging
