Mondo is celebrating Halloween with a brand new line of Universal Monsters merchandise, the most notable pieces being two different figures of the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
This is allegedly the “first ever 1/6 Scale Figure” of the Creature, “meticulously crafted and two years in the making.” The 12″ tall figure features 16 points of articulation, and two different versions are available: “Classic Creature” and the black & white “Silver Screen Variant.”
Both ABS/PVC figures, designed by Joe Allard, come with switch-out swim hands and feet, as well as two switch-out heads. They also each include a fossil hand accessory.
Matt Black sculpted this incredible new Creature figure, which was painted by Anthony Mestas (“Classic Creature”) and Mike Pflaumer & Hector Arce (the “Silver Screen Variant”).
The standard version is selling for $175, with the black & white variant going for $185. You’ll find them only over in Mondo’s online shop, with an expected ship date of February 2021.
