Funko Conjures Up ‘The Curse of La Llorona’ With Two Different Vinyl Toys

Published

on

Technically part of the Conjuring Universe, 2019’s folklore-based The Curse of La Llorona paved the way for director Michael Chaves to take the reigns from James Wan for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and now La Llorona is joining the Funko family.

Announced tonight as part of Funko’s ongoing “Funkoween” celebration, two different La Llorona vinyl toys are on the way, one of which is a Limited Chase Edition with yellow eyes.

The standard toy, on the other hand, depicts La Llorona with a veil over her face.

You can pre-order the toys now through Chalice Collectibles and WePlay Chile.

Set in 1973 Los Angeles, the film tells the story of Anna Tate-Garcia (Linda Cardellini), a social worker and widowed single mom struggling to balance the two roles while still coping with the loss of her husband. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, she and her own kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has two awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

NECA Reveals ‘Ultimate Santa’s Slay Ghost Face’ Action Figure Featuring Candy Cane Mask and More

Published

NECA has joined forces with Fun World’s Ghost Face brand for a very unique new action figure that dresses Ghost Face up as Santa Claus… complete with a candy cane mask!

The 7″ scale action figure is not based on the Scream franchise, of course, but rather it’s inspired by a Santa Ghost Face mask that the company Fun World recently released.

Fun World owns the rights to the iconic mask, which they license out to the Scream franchise.

NECA previews, “This festive fiend is here to spread some holiday fear and deck the halls—with blood from those on his naughty list. This 7-inch scale action figure wears a soft goods Santa robe and comes with a holiday haul of weapons and accessories: interchangeable hands, heads, and face plate masks (red chrome, green chrome, candy cane, and classic white).”

“Plus, Christmas lights, sharpened bloody candy cane and icicle, classic chrome knife, green-hilted chrome knife, and mini Santa Ghost Face toy,” NECA continues.

“Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap, complete with retro-inspired holiday artwork. Have yourself a scary little Christmas!”

Ultimate Santa’s Slay Ghost Face will be released in Summer 2026.
