‘Halloween III’ Living Dead Dolls Box Set Now Available from Mezco!
There was a time when Halloween III: Season of the Witch was a failure of a sequel that most horror fans didn’t even want to talk about, but the past several years have seen the once-maligned movie become one of the most beloved horror movies of the 1980s. At long last, it’s being fondly appreciated for precisely what it is, rather than trashed for what it’s not.
In the wake of NECA’s action figures, Mezco recently previewed that Silver Shamrock kids from Halloween III are getting their own Living Dead Dolls, and they’re now up for pre-order!
“Based on their appearance in Halloween III: Season of the Witch, this boxed set features the three trick-or-treaters seen in the film – the witch, the skeleton, and the jack-o-lantern. Each trick-or-treater features an all-new head sculpt of their respective Silver Shamrock mask, and each comes with a trick-or-treat bag that they can hold in their right hand.
“Each trick-or-treater stands 10” tall and feature 5 points of articulation. They are packaged together in a window box, perfect for display.”
Pre-order your set for $120 and expect it in June-August 2022.

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP
Hitting theaters June 5, 2026, Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.
Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…
Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
