‘Float: From the Deep’ – Aquatic Horror Game from the Makers of ‘Mixtape Massacre’ Launches on Kickstarter!
Survive nature… survive monsters… survive each other…
The creators of popular slasher board game Mixtape Massacre are back with a brand new horror experience, with the aquatic horror-themed Float: From the Deep now on Kickstarter.
In the board game, “When a mysterious explosion sends a cruise ship sinking to the bottom of the sea, five groups of survivors band together in lifeboats and set sail in search of land.”
“But what seemed like an easy expedition, quickly goes south with food and water shortages, treacherous storms, and desperation taking over. Worse yet, the creatures from below are beginning to surface… and feed.”
In Float: From the Deep, which you can help fund right now, players take on the role as leaders of five small groups of survivors. Manage your rations, your team, and fight off the creatures from the deep as you try to make it through rough waters in hopes of finding land.
Float: From the Deep is a new stand alone board game that’s separate from the cult-favorite Mixtape Massacre, which was created by the Bright Light team in 2015.

With the Halloween season just around the corner, Monster High is slashing into the spirit with a new Michael Myers doll inspired by Halloween II. Michael Myers’s Monster High makeover is a nod to his hospital showdown with Laurie, complete with a red glitter spattered jumpsuit and tons of spine-chilling Easter egg accessories fans of the film will find totally to die for. Look for this slay queen to launch on August 7.
All Hallows’ Eve brings a holiday treat for fans of Tim Burton and director Henry Selick’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The burlap sack baddie of Halloween Town gets a Monster High makeover on October 30, featuring neon green fashion with black patchwork-like stitches and a whole lot of buggy details.
The holiday horrors continue with the December 3 launch of a Monster High doll inspired by 2015’s Krampus movie. A deep red velveteen jacket, extra-long chains add eerie movement, and black knee-high boots recreate Krampus’ cloven hooves. You’ll wind up on the naughty list in style with this one.
