NECA’s “Toony Terrors” Series 8 Features Vampira, Captain Spaulding and Svengoolie

NECA has taken to social media tonight to show off Series 8 of their cartoon-inspired “Toony Terrors” line, which finally gives us a toy of the original horror host, Vampira!

Also included in the mix is Svengoolie, a fellow horror host who’s still on the air on a weekly basis, plus the late Sid Haig’s Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses.

NECA previews, “Bring the fun of Saturday morning cartoons to your horror collection with the adorable little creeps of Toony Terrors, NECA’s line of stylized horror icons! Standing approximately 6 inches tall, the Series 8 action figure assortment includes Captain Spaulding (House of 1000 Corpses) with alternate head, Vampira with skull, and Svengoolie.

Each figure comes in blister card packaging with a bonus cutout backdrop.”

“Toony Terrors” Series 8 will be available in August 2023.

In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…

  • 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
  • Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
  • Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
  • Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging
