The companies Nacelle (The Movies That Made Us, Behind the Attraction, Icons Unearthed) and Culturefly team up to announce a new shopping destination exclusively at Walmart. An in-store ‘The Movies That Made Us’ branded collection will showcase new products inspired by iconic films in over 2,000 Walmart stores, Bloody Disgusting has learned.

The even better news? The branded collection started rolling out in stores earlier this month!

The partnership enables Nacelle to expand their brands into the physical media market with an engaging and innovative collection featured at select Walmart stores.

The collection will include products inspired by classic titles pulled from episodes of ‘Movies that Made Us’: Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Nightmare Before Christmas as well as other iconic titles like Friday the 13th, Child’s Play and more.

The collection will also launch a number of innovative new product lines from Culturefly, many of which were highlighted in 2023 at New York Comic-Con. Exclusive to Walmart, each of the items on the ‘Movies that Made Us’ collection will include a rental code to choose from a unique selection of titles inspired by each item.

Included in the collection is a line of “3Deep” relief displays, sculpted 3D versions of classic VHS video covers that can be hung on the wall or displayed on your desk. The lineup includes Friday the 13th 3D, Jurassic Park, Nightmare Before Christmas, and IT (1990).

As well as expanding on the success of their miniature Tinymights, this program will also feature new collectibles from Culturefly such as Gremlins Nooks, Beetlejuice Clingers, and more!

  • Nooks – Decorative book nooks featuring characters from horror and Disney titles that can bring your book or movie collection to life on the shelf.
  • 3Deep – Sculpted 3D versions of classic video covers that can be hung on the wall or displayed on your desk.
  • Clingers – Uniquely retro, interactive scene-builders using vinyl cling decals of characters, props, and comic styled action bubbles to make your own scene on a backdrop.

“The collectibles business continues to create excitement as brands tap into more ways to engage fans outside of a theatre and away from their screens. We’re thrilled to introduce this new assortment from Culturefly and Nacelle and look forward to fans finding these exclusively at Walmart,” said Frank Barbieri, vice president of content and digital merchandise at Walmart U.S.

“The teams at Walmart and Culturefly have been fantastic partners in this venture to preserve pop-culture and nostalgia for generations that were ‘made by’ these iconic films and shows.” said Nacelle Company Founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss.

All 16 episodes of The Movies That Made Us are streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Spirit Halloween and Funko Say “I Do” to New ‘Bride of Chucky’ Exclusive Movie Moment Figure

Funko Bride of Chucky

Funko is getting into the Halloween spirit already. Spirit Halloween and Funko are teaming up for an exclusive, limited-edition Funko POP! Movie Moment from Bride of Chucky that’ll leave you saying “I do.”

The Chucky & Tiffany Funko is available exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com now and at Spirit Halloween stores opening nationwide starting in August.

The new Movie Moment figure is “Standing at 3.5” tall, the Chucky & Tiffany Funko proves that love hurts – but there’s no doubt these two were meant to be. Featuring a blood-stained checkered floor base and fireplace background, this duo is a chilling tribute to horror’s most iconic declaration of love.”

In Bride of Chucky (1998), “Chucky, the doll possessed by a serial killer, discovers the perfect mate to kill and revive into the body of another doll. Tiffany is born.” Directed by Ronny Yu, the raucous horror comedy doubled down on the dolls, pairing Brad Dourif‘s iconic killer doll with Jennifer Tilly, who would become a horror icon in her own right as Chucky’s bride Tiffany.

Of course, Chucky and Tiffany’s dysfunctional romance is still going, er, strong today with “Chucky.” The series just wrapped its third season, which saw the on-and-off-and-on again lovebirds reunite. Here’s to hoping a season renewal is on the way soon. In the meantime, at least this new Funko POP! exclusive immortalizes the pint-sized killers in happier times.
