The Tall Man from ‘Phantasm’ Finally Gets His Own Funko Toy

Published

on

The majority of the big franchise horror icons have gotten their own Funko toys by now, but one icon you haven’t yet been able to add to your collection is the Tall Man from Phantasm, played by the late Angus Scrimm across four movies between 1979 and 2016. For the 45th anniversary of the original horror classic, the Tall Man is finally getting his own Funko toy!

The upcoming Phantasm collectible has been previewed by Funko this week, the toy capturing Angus Scrimm’s iconic visage and even coming complete with a silver death sphere.

Preview the Tall Man toy below and expect it to hit toy shelves soon.

The only other official Tall Man toy we’ve gotten over the years was from NECA’s Cult Classics line of figures, part of the second series that was released way back in 2005.

Speaking of Phantasm, franchise creator Don Coscarelli returns to the universe with six brand new original short stories in Phiction: Tales from the World of Phantasm, now available!

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

Spirit Halloween and Funko Say “I Do” to New ‘Bride of Chucky’ Exclusive Movie Moment Figure

Funko Bride of Chucky

Funko is getting into the Halloween spirit already. Spirit Halloween and Funko are teaming up for an exclusive, limited-edition Funko POP! Movie Moment from Bride of Chucky that’ll leave you saying “I do.”

The Chucky & Tiffany Funko is available exclusively at SpiritHalloween.com now and at Spirit Halloween stores opening nationwide starting in August.

The new Movie Moment figure is “Standing at 3.5” tall, the Chucky & Tiffany Funko proves that love hurts – but there’s no doubt these two were meant to be. Featuring a blood-stained checkered floor base and fireplace background, this duo is a chilling tribute to horror’s most iconic declaration of love.”

In Bride of Chucky (1998), “Chucky, the doll possessed by a serial killer, discovers the perfect mate to kill and revive into the body of another doll. Tiffany is born.” Directed by Ronny Yu, the raucous horror comedy doubled down on the dolls, pairing Brad Dourif‘s iconic killer doll with Jennifer Tilly, who would become a horror icon in her own right as Chucky’s bride Tiffany.

Of course, Chucky and Tiffany’s dysfunctional romance is still going, er, strong today with “Chucky.” The series just wrapped its third season, which saw the on-and-off-and-on again lovebirds reunite. Here’s to hoping a season renewal is on the way soon. In the meantime, at least this new Funko POP! exclusive immortalizes the pint-sized killers in happier times.
