‘M3GAN’ Is More Than a Toy; She’s Now a Monster High Skullector Doll

M3GAN Monster High

Mattel has been turning various horror icons into Monster High dolls as part of their collector-geared “Skullector” line, and dancing queen M3GAN is joining the lineup.

The official Monster High doll launches June 11, 2025, at 9am PT,  through the Mattel Creations online shop, and the limited edition collector’s item will be selling for $65.

Mattel previews, “WARNING: M3GAN is no ordinary doll. She is apex artificial intelligence … or, in her case, artificial malevolence. Attempts to alter her code were in vain. Though she may look sweet and toy-like, she will go to any lengths necessary to maximize her objective function. She possesses myriad emergent capabilities that The Company has yet to discover, as well as a mocking attitude that suggests she’s become self-aware. Do not activate M3GAN under any circumstances.”

Here are some key features for the doll…

  • MONSTER HIGH™ SKULLECTOR™ M3GAN Doll
  • 10 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • Outer face detaches to reveal android face underneath
  • Glossy circuit board dress with mesh sleeves and oversized bow
  • Comes with Mary Jane heels, code-print tights, and PurRpetual Petz Bat Purse
  • Premium, displayable packaging showcases killer dance moves

From June 10, 2025, at 9:00am PT through June 11, 2025, at 8:59am PT, only Fang Club members can buy this doll at MattelCreations.com, while supplies last, limited to one per member. During this early access window, limited units will be made available to Fang Club members.

Other horror icons to get the Monster High treatment in recent years include Elvira, Chucky, Tiffany, Wednesday Addams, Annabelle, Dracula, and even Greta from Gremlins 2.

The announcement’s timing is perfect, considering M3GAN and M3GAN 2.0 director Gerard Johnstone has been set to direct the live-action Monster High film.

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone

Published

The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.

The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.

The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.

A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.

Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP

Hitting theaters June 5, 2026Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”

Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.

Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…

Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!

Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory WayansCraig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
