Artist Turns the Best ‘Friday the 13th’ Franchise Kills into Their Own Action Figures
Dan Polydoris has been making custom horror toys under the Death by Toys banner for the last several years, and he’s celebrating 2025’s only Friday the 13th this week with his own unique tribute to the Friday the 13th franchise. In particular, the saga’s best kill scenes.
Countless fans over the years have relayed their own personal selections for the best kills in the history of the Friday series, but Dan’s presentation is a little bit different. Rather than merely listing them off, Dan created custom action figures based on each of his favorite kills!
He explains on the Death by Toys Instagram, “I turned each of my favorite kills from every Friday the 13th movie into a one-of-a-kind action figure toy line (swipe-> for pics). This was basically my love letter to this franchise, and I don’t think I’ve obsessed over a toy line quite like a did with this one. I’m looking forward to rejoining society now that these are done.”
The lineup includes Kevin Bacon’s death in the original Friday the 13th, Crazy Ralph’s execution in Part 2, Rick’s eyeball-popping demise in Part 3D, the sleeping bag kill from New Blood, and the iconic frozen face smash from Jason X, as well as everything from the banana girl’s death in Final Chapter to that memorable “damn enchiladas” scene from A New Beginning.
Most of these custom action figures were put up for grabs in the Death by Toys online shop, but as you might have expected, they didn’t last long. They’re one-off pieces so don’t expect to ever own one, but at least we can all gaze at their ghoulish beauty this Friday the 13th.
Enjoy Death by Toys’ Friday the 13th kill scene action figures below!

‘Scary Movie’ Official Popcorn Bucket Is Shaped Like a Retro ’90s Telephone
The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
Call Shorty now at: (855) WAZ-ZZUP
Hitting theaters June 5, 2026, Scary Movie has been Rated ‘R’ for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite for the new Scary Movie, with the cast also including Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Jon Abrahams, Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, and Felissa Rose.
Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe…
Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs Scary Movie 6 from a script written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
