Samurai Predator from ‘Predator: Hunting Grounds’ Gets Ultimate Action Figure from NECA
NECA has revealed a Samurai Predator ultimate action figure based on the 2020 video game Predator: Hunting Grounds.
A legendary Yautja who once hunted the skilled warriors who protected feudal Japan, the Samurai Predator honored his prey by decorating his armor and mask to resemble them and took up their weapons.
The 7″ scale toy comes with two interchangeable heads (masked and unmasked), four interchangeable hands, katana, collapsed and extended combisticks, and articulated plasmacaster.
Due out in October, it’s packaged in a window box with opening front flap.
Developed by IllFonic and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Predator: Hunting Grounds tasks a team of four elite operatives with completing paramilitary operations before a single Predator can find and eliminate them in the remote jungles of the world.
It features Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as Dutch Schaefer from Predator, Alice Braga reprising her role as Isabelle from Predators, and Jake Busey reprising his role as Sean Keyes from The Predator.

NECA Opens Official Image Gallery for ‘Savini Jason’ Action Figure from ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’
NECA had announced at Toy Fair that they’re releasing brand new Jason Voorhees action figures based on Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell, along with the Tom Savini-designed hellish Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th: The Game. The latter action figure has received an official image gallery from NECA today, showing it off in all its glory.
The Ultimate Savini Jason 7” Scale Action Figure will be released in Summer 2026.
NECA previews, “From Friday the 13th: The Game comes a new look for Jason Voorhees, designed by the legendary Tom Savini! This version imagines the character as if he fought Lucifer, took his infernal Trident, and climbed out of Hell to haunt Camp Crystal Lake!
“Featuring fiery skin and a demonic look, this fully articulated 7-inch scale action figure features interchangeable heads, including one with light piping for a glowing effect in the eyes. It also includes interchangeable hands, Devil’s Pitchfork, mask, and smoke effect accessory.”
Makeup effects legend Tom Savini of course designed the original Jason, seen in Friday the 13th (1980), as well as The Final Chapter‘s Jason, and “Savini Jason” was his interpretation of what might have happened to Jason after the epic finale of Jason Goes to Hell.
