First produced by American Greetings in 1986, My Pet Monster was a rare plush marketed to boys and quickly became a favorite among ’80s kids.
The Loyal Subjects, in partnership with Hasbro, is reviving the nostalgic icon with a 14″ deluxe plush for fans who’ve been waiting decades to let the monster loose again.
Housed in a platform box inspired by the original packaging, the doll features authentic detailing, premium materials, and — of course — breakaway chains that helped make him a breakout star.
My Pet Monster will officially launch next month at San Diego Comic-Con (booth #2544), but the cuddly creature is available to pre-order for $50.
As previewed at Toy Fair, The Loyal Subjects has more My Pet Monster goodies in the works, including CheeBee mini plushes and figural keychains.
