Now that summer is basically over, we’ve entering the final stretch of 2016, which means 2017 is just around the corner. And do you know that that means? The third season of “Twin Peaks” will finally hit the air on Showtime!!!
Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love that show. From the phenomenal music to the delightful writing, the mysterious story to the utterly charming characters, there isn’t really a bad time to watch “Twin Peaks”. Pop on an episode and I’ll happily shut up, sit down, and stay out of everyone’s hair for 45 minutes or so.
As mentioned above, the show has some truly memorable and wonderful characters. Each person has a purpose and feels nuanced, fleshed out, and interesting. And with so many of them, it’s easy to begin to feel akin to some. The broken chaos of Laura Palmer, the cool and ever positive Special Agent Dale Cooper, and the mystical and resourceful Hawk are just a handful of the show’s breadth of personas, each of whom has qualities that reside within ourselves.
