AMC is really pushing the intensity and terror that is Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan for the upcoming seventh season of “The Walking Dead” and it’s not really a big surprise. The character, who appeared in the 100th issue of the comic (we’re on issue #157 now) and is still apart of the series, has brought about some of the biggest and most cataclysmic changes to the core group’s dynamics.
A new trio of posters are basically all centered around Negan and his influence. Yes, one poster only shows Rick Grimes but he’s on his knees with the tagline “The price will be paid” hovering above him, establishing that he, Grimes, is in fact the one who is in a place of distress.

The show features series stars Steven Yeun (Glenn), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Chandler Riggs (Carl), and Josh McDermitt (Eugene).
“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on October 23rd.
