Earlier tonight saw the premiere of FX’s sixth season of “American Horror Story“, which now has the subtitle “My Roanoke Nightmare”. The season is acting like a documentary with dramatic reenactments of supposedly real events using “interviews” with people while actors play their characters in the show. If it sounds confusing, just think of it like “Unsolved Mysteries” and you’ll pretty much get the gist of it.

Now that the premiere aired, the first real promo for the show has been released, one that shows actual footage instead of random vignettes, the vast majority of which had absolutely nothing to do with the show. You can see it below.
“American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare” stars Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Lady Gaga, and Lily Rabe. New episodes will air Wednesdays at 10pm EST.
