This Friday, Pop will premiere its six-part television event “Wolf Creek” (review), which follows the events of John Jarratt’s Mick Taylor and a survivor of his wicked, deadly games who decides to seek revenge by her own means.
While a trailer has been out for a bit (you can see it below), Pop has released a clip from the series which showcases the strained dynamic between Eve and her family, which suggests that Eve has a drug habit that is being broken on this vacation. Oh, and a crocodile tries to eat her younger brother. That’s also a thing that happens.
“Wolf Creek”, “…begins when an American family is on holiday in Northern Australia and becomes the unsuspecting prey of Mick Taylor, a sadistic serial killer who hunts and kills tourists in the Outback. The sole survivor is Eve Thorogood, a college student, who vows to bring the killer to justice or die in the attempt. The story of “Wolf Creek” reveals her complex and extraordinary journey, traveling every step of the way as she evolves from child to adult, from prey to predator. But can she triumph over Mick Taylor, evil incarnate?”
“Wolf Creek” premieres Friday, October 14th at 10:00pm ET/PT on Pop.
