Take that, CGI.
Not to be confused with that amazing movie wherein Nicolas Cage and John Travolta literally swapped faces, Syfy’s “Face Off” has been going strong on the network since it premiered back in 2011. It’s almost hard to believe that we’re already up to the 12th season of the reality competition series, which sees makeup effects artist going head to head in an effort to wow masters like Ve Neill, Neville Page, and Glenn Hetrick.
But the show is changing in the upcoming Season 12, set to premiere June 13th. The all-new season features a twist that will, in Syfy’s words, “change the show forever.” What’s the twist, you ask? Well, rather than pitting individual artists against one another, Season 12 of “Face Off” will bring them together for a “divide and conquer” situation that will see two teams trying to outwit, outplay, and outlast one another.
Oh wait. That’s a different reality series. But you get the idea.
