Last week EW teased the October return of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” with a photo displaying fan-favorite characters Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) side-by-side and presumably ready to take the fight to Negan and his Saviors.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple told the site that Season 8 will be all about characters joining forces.
“The season finale last year, seeing all the characters together interacting as one, was thrilling,” he told the site. “It was exciting to see all these configurations of characters we hadn’t seen before. Even Aaron merely giving Jerry an apple felt satisfying. This is that times a million.”
Now, ahead of the San Diego Comic-Con, a Twitter user shared a banner hanging that celebrates the forthcoming 100th episode! Mostly, though, it’s a huge “thank you” to the fans.
