Tom Savini’s Severed Head Was Featured on “The Orville”

If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll be happy to know it was renewed today!

Personally, I haven’t yet checked out Seth MacFarlane’s new series “The Orville, which has been airing on FOX since early September. The show, inspired by “Star Trek,” centers on the crew of the Orville as they embark on various diplomatic and exploratory missions, and Episode 8 airs tonight, November 2.

But we’re here to talk about Episode 6, which was titled “Krill” and premiered on October 12. Why, you ask? Because horror legend Tom Savini made a cameo appearance!

Well, his head did.

As Savini himself revealed on Instagram, the severed head featured in the episode was a replica of Savini’s, only without his iconic facial hair. Savini’s friend Howard Berger, of the famous KNB EFK Group, is on the show’s special makeup effects team, and it was Berger who included the severed head as a little Easter egg for horror fans.

Tom Savini has of course decapitated countless people over the years, but this isn’t the first time he’s lost his own. Savini’s head was also cut off in Lost Boys: The Tribe!

So I had a cameo on the latest episode of The Orville. Actually my severed head did.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.

Watch the trailer below to preview this week’s bloody new episode!
