On April 13, danger will find them.
The Robinson family is back in Netflix’s rebooted take on the classic TV series “Lost in Space,” and it looks like they spared no expense going big with this one.
With the 10-episode series headed our way in just over a month, Netflix has just dropped the full length official trailer, along with poster art. Action, adventure and even terror abound in the epic trailer, which introduces our new Robinson family and a sleek new version of the benevolent robot audiences fell in love with back in the 1960s.

In this new version of “Lost in Space”…
“The Robinson family, part of a highly trained mission to establish a new colony in space, is unexpectedly pulled off course forcing them to crash land on a lost planet.”
“Set 30 years in the future, colonization in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world. But when the new colonists find themselves abruptly torn off course en route to their new home they must forge new alliances and work together to survive in a dangerous alien environment, light-years from their original destination.
Stranded along with the Robinsons are two outsiders who find themselves thrown together by circumstance and a mutual knack for deception. The unsettlingly charismatic Dr. Smith (Parker Posey) is a master manipulator with an inscrutable end game. And the roguish, but inadvertently charming Don West (Ignacio Serricchio) is a highly-skilled, blue collar contractor, who had no intention of joining the colony, let alone crash landing on a lost planet.”
The original version of “Lost in Space,” created by Irwin Allen, aired from September 1965 – March 1968. The series was later adapted into a feature film, in 1998.
