That’s “Shark Week”… not “Shaq Week.”
Perfectly timed to the release of the first trailer for this summer’s The Meg, Discovery has just announced that this year’s “Shark Week” will kick off Sunday, July 22!
“Shark Week” 2018 will be the channel’s 30th anniversary event, with the programming set to take over Discovery for eight straight days of shark-infested fun.
No word yet on the schedule of programs, but Discovery did tease this year’s “Shark Week” with a fun promo video starring Shaquille O’Neal, which you can watch below.
