For the first time since 2011, Syfy will *not* be airing an all-day block of “The Twilight Zone” episodes tomorrow, July 4. Last year on the Fourth of July, we got an epic 29-hour marathon of classic episodes, but this year, Syfy has decided to go in a different direction. Instead of “Twilight Zone,” they’re serving up A Nightmare on Elm Street!
Beginning at 6:30am EST on Wednesday, July 4, Syfy is devoting the day to the Elm Street franchise, kicking things off with the original classic…
- 6:30am – A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
- 8:30am – Freddy’s Revenge: A Nightmare on Elm Street 2
- 10:30am – A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
- 12:30pm – A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master
- 2:30pm – A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: Dream Child
- 4:30pm – A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
Following the Elm Street marathon, Syfy will air Lake Placid: Legacy at 6:30pm.
If you’d rather spend the day with “The Twilight Zone” instead, we’ve learned that the Decades TV Network is airing Rod, White & Blue: A Twilight Zone Celebration tomorrow, an all-day celebration of “The Twilight Zone” that will include 46 iconic episodes back-to-back from the original series. It begins at 7am EST on Wednesday, July 4. Bless you, Decades!
