Not even Shudder expected the incredible amount of demand for their marathon special “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,” which brought back the legendary horror host for a 24-hour live event on July 13. So many people tuned in that the special essentially broke Shudder, and the good news is that we haven’t seen the last of Joe Bob this year!
Over on Twitter, Shudder just announced…
“Due to overwhelming demand, we’re bringing
@therealjoebob back later this year! Stay tuned for details – the drive in will never die!”
What place does a horror host have in 2018? Well, Shudder’s recent marathon proved that folks like Joe Bob are needed now more than ever. Briggs himself perfectly explains why.
