[First Look] Hulu’s Anthology Horror Series “Into the Dark” Premieres October 5th

Bloody Disgusting learned today that Hulu will launch the Blumhouse-produced 12-part anthology series “Into the Dark” on October 5, 2018, with a new episode airing each month for an entire year. We have details on the first two episodes, with the first being directed by Paul Davis, the filmmaker behind Beware the Moon: Remembering ‘An American Werewolf in London’.

In “The Body”, pictured above, penned by Davis and Paul Fischer, “A sophisticated hitman with a cynical view on modern society finds his work made more difficult when he has to transport a body on Halloween night, but everyone is enamored by what they think is his killer costume.

The episode stars Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Hull, Aurora Perrineau and “Ash vs Evil Dead’s” Ray Santiago.


The second episode, “Flesh & Blood”, will premiere on November 2, 2018.

Directed by Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine‘s Patrick Lussier, “Kimberly, a teenager suffering from agoraphobia, has not left the house since her mother’s murder, which remains unsolved. While under the care of her doting father on the eve of Thanksgiving, Kimberly begins to suspect that she is in danger, and that it’s always the ones you love that hurt you the most.

Dermot Mulroney, Diana Silvers, Tembi Locke and Meredith Salenger. It was penned by Louis Ackerman.

“Agatha All Along” Brings Darkness to Disney+ This September

Kathryn Hahn is back as the bewitching villain Agatha Harkness in the upcoming Disney+ series “Agatha All Along, confirmed as the official title of the upcoming series tonight.

“Agatha All Along” premieres with the first TWO episodes on September 18.

You can watch the title reveal video below, which makes it clear that all the previous titles for the series were part of a clever marketing campaign… all along. Well played, Marvel.

Tony-winner Patti LuPone joins the previously announced Aubrey Plaza (Child’s Play) and Joe Locke (Heartstopper), as well as Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, and Sasheer Zamata.

Emma Caulfield Ford (“Wandavision”) will also be back as the character Dottie.

Jac Schaeffer (“WandaVision”) is on board the series as writer/exec producer.

Plot details for the spinoff project are under wraps at the moment, so it’s unclear if the series will pick up following the events of “WandaVision.” In the finale’s big final battle, Wanda of course defeated Agatha Harkness, trapping her in the town of Westview.
