Beginning with the show’s second season, “Roseanne” went big with its annual celebration of Halloween, a tradition that continued throughout the entire run. From Season 2 straight through Season 9, a total of eight Halloween episodes aired on ABC, and they remain a high watermark for television Halloween specials, paving the way for other shows to celebrate a holiday that was once completely absent from the small screen.
Of course, “Roseanne” is now “The Conners,“ but the spinoff series is continuing the tradition the night before Halloween!
No family does Halloween like the Conner family, and we’ve just learned that next Tuesday night’s episode of “The Conners,” titled ‘There Won’t Be Blood,’ takes place on Halloween.
“It’s Halloween, the favorite time of year for the Conners, but an email from the school banning certain costumes, including Mark’s, sets off an argument between Dan and Darlene. Jackie introduces someone new to the family at the Halloween party and insists that Dan vet him, only to immediately wish that she hadn’t.”
‘There Won’t Be Blood’ airs Tuesday night, October 30.
