Just last month, “Channel Zero” creator Nick Antosca had teased that he’d love to see memorable “Candle Cove” character The Tooth Child return in a future season of the anthology series, which has otherwise told a brand new story with each season. Now, in a chat with io9 this week, Antosca again teases a potential future crossover of sorts.
Does each season take place in a shared universe?!
“I know what two more seasons would be. I have no idea and won’t know for at least a month or two whether we’re getting more seasons. If we get to do the two more that I want to do, then continuity among seasons might become a little bit clearer,” Antosca told the site. “You might see the return of certain iconic characters that people love from earlier seasons.”
He elaborated, “Not exactly a crossover. I think it would be a familiar character integrated in a new and unprecedented way.”
When asked if the stories do take place in a shared universe, Antosca offered up a “No comment.” Sounds like things will soon get very interesting in the world of “Channel Zero”.
