Hulu’s “Into the Dark” Gets an All-Female Next Segment With Sophia Takal’s “New Year, New You”
The third feature length episode of Hulu and Blumhouse Television’s unique anthology series “Into the Dark,” the Nacho Vigalondo-directed “Pookah!” is now up for streaming on Hulu, and Indiewire brings us word that the next “Into the Dark” segment will be the all-female “New Year, New You,“ directed by Sophia Takal.
The director of Always Shine, Takal was in the “Second Honeymoon” segment of our V/H/S!
The all-female cast includes Assassination Nation and The Bad Batch star Suki Waterhouse, as well as Carly Chaikin, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Melissa Bergland.
Plot centers on a group of old high school friends who reunite in a house for New Year’s Eve, where they’re forced to confront traumas from their past.
The 85-minute feature will premiere on Hulu on December 28.
