So how about that second season, Netflix? Pretty please?
One of my personal favorite treats of 2018 was Netflix’s “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell,“ a highly unique and totally charming baking show that can best be described as “The Munsters” meets Martha Stewart meets “Pee-wee’s Playhouse.” The series is set in McConnell’s home, which she shares with an ornery mummy cat named Rankle and a sex-crazed raccoon named Rose, along with a handful of other creatures. It’s part baking show and part sitcom, and it quickly became a new obsession for many of us here on BD.
As a special holiday treat for fans of “Curious Creations,” Netflix just released a fun little mini Christmas special of sorts, wherein Rose spreads holiday cheer at the Netflix offices.
Until another season is ordered, this will have to hold us over!
