Yuki Morita Joins “The Terror” Cast for Season 2 [Exclusive]

Bloody Disgusting has learned that Japanese/Canadian actress Yuki Morita has landed an undisclosed role in the second season of the Ridley Scott-produced “The Terror”.  Morita appeared in Legendary/Warner’s Godzilla (2014) as well as the new kaiju film The Great Buddha Arrival.

Also starring are Kiki Sukezane (Lost in Space), Miki Ishikawa (9-1-1), Shingo Usami (Unbroken), Naoko Mori (Everest) and Cristina Rodlo with “Star Trek” legend George Takei.

Josef Kubota Wladyka (“Narcos”) will direct the first episode.

Set during World War II, the second season follows a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community and a young man’s journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible.

Season two of “The Terror” anthology is co-created and executive produced by Alexander Woo (“True Blood”) and Max Borenstein (“Kong: Skull Island,” “Godzilla”). Woo is also set to serve as showrunner. The next season of “The Terror” anthology is expected to air on AMC in 2019 with 10 episodes.
