David Boreanaz Teases Some Sort of “Angel” Reunion; “We May Have Something in the Works”

We know that “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is getting a small screen reboot (without Sarah Michelle Gellar, sadly), but what about spinoff series “Angel”? The five-season series starred David Boreanaz as the title character, a 200-year-old vampire, and twenty years after the show’s premiere, the actor teases this week that *something* is currently in the works…

We’re coming up on 20 years. I mean, that’s amazing to have been blessed with a show like that and that’s where I really started my gig — in this acting world,” Boreanaz said on “The Talk” today. “I love that character.”

He added, “So, I will say there may be something coming up. I don’t want to give away a lot. I can say, it’s 20 years coming up this fall and we may have something in the works.”

“Angel” aired on The WB from October 5, 1999, to May 19, 2004.
