Here’s Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn in Netflix’s Horror Series “Chambers”!

Here’s our first ever look at Kill Bill‘s Uma Thurman – who can also be seen in Lars von Trier’s controversial House That Jack Built later this year – in “Chambers”, Netflix’s upcoming hour-long supernatural drama from Stephen Gaghan and Super Deluxe that streams April 26, 2019.

“‘Chambers’ centers on a young heart attack survivor who becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor’s sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased — some of which are troublingly sinister.”

Thurman will play Nancy, the mother of the heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient only to find out her daughter may not be as dead as she thought.

“Taking place in a mystic, New Age pocket of Arizona, ‘Chambers’ is a psychological horror story that explores the different ways we metabolize trauma,” series creator Leah Rachel said of the show. “But what starts out as a grounded human story eventually pivots into something far more strange and fucked up than you were expecting.”

The series also stars Tony Goldwyn (Scandal, Insurgent), Sivan Alyra Rose (The Entrada, Running Shadow), Lilliya Reid (Vienna, The Fantomes), Nicholas Galitzine (Share, Handsome Devil, The Watcher In The Woods, The Beat Beneath My Feet and The Changeover), Kyanna Simone Simpson (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Black Lightning, White Boy Rick & Ma), Lilli Kay (Paterno, Napoli, Brooklyn), Sarah Mezzanotte (The Wolves, Six Degrees of Separation, Blame, Blue Bloods, Royal Pains) and introducing Griffin Powell-Arcand.

Gaghan executive produces Chambers via Super Emotional alongside Rachel and Cooper as well as Wolfgang Hammer and Winnie Kemp via Super Deluxe.

Disney+ is bringing a mystery-thriller vibe to the Star Wars Universe with upcoming series “The Acolyte,” and a bloody official poster has been unleashed this morning.

Additionally, we’ve learned “Star Wars: The Acolyte” will premiere on June 4. Check out the official art below, which replaces a lightsaber beam with a streak of blood…

Bloody violence in the Star Wars Universe? It’s about time! The poster’s tagline reads, “In an age of light… a darkness rises.” Expect the show’s official trailer tomorrow, March 19.

Joining Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give) are Emmy Award-winner Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game), Manny Jacinto (Nine Perfect Strangers), Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Rebecca Henderson (Inventing Anna), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Dean-Charles Chapman (1917), and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix).

“The Acolyte” is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.

A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

The High Republic saw the Jedi Order at its prime, centuries prior to the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

“The Acolyte” comes from creator, showrunner, and executive producer Leslye Headland (Russian Doll). The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Rayne Roberts and Damian Anderson are producing.
