“The Walking Dead’s” Katelyn Nacon Leads New “Light As a Feather” Cast

Hulu recently renewed their teen thriller “Light As a Feather” from Viacom’s Awesomeness for a massive 16-episode second season.

While Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm and Brianne Tju will reprise their roles, we’ve just learned of several newcomers that include Katelyn Nacon (pictured in The Walking Dead) as “Sammi,” Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf) as “Ridge,” Adriyan Rae (Atlanta) as “Peri,” Alisa Allapach (The 15:17 to Paris) as “Amanda,” Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans) as “Nadia,” Alex Wassabi (Wassabi) as “Luke,” Robyn Lively (Teen Witch) as “Deb” and Alan & Alex Stokes (Brobot).

In “Light As a Feather,” an innocent game of “light as a feather, stiff as a board” goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in exactly way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted — and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own. McKenna (Liberato) finds herself fighting against a ticking clock compelling her to play along.

In the following season, having inherited the curse brought on by the lethal game of “Light as a Feather,” McKenna finds herself fighting against a ticking clock compelling her to play along.

Creator R. Lee Fleming Jr. will return as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

Production is currently underway.
