Not long after Fox pulled the plug on “Lucifer,“ we learned last year that Netflix swooped in to save the series at the final hour, ordering up a fourth season for their streaming service. With the first teaser this morning, Netflix has announced that Season 4 will premiere May 8!
EW details the 10-episode fourth season:
“When season 4 begins, Lucifer is still reeling from Chloe’s discovery, but he’ll face a new challenge in the form of Eve— you know, of the Book of Genesis. With the original sinner back in his life, Lucifer will have to figure out if she wants revenge for tempting her out of the Garden of Eden or something else. Given all this, Ellis is convinced that this is the show’s best season yet.”
“I’ll say this is without a doubt our strongest season that we’ve done, for many reasons,” star Tom Ellis told the site. “A lot of it has to do with where we left our story and how we pick it up, and what we deal with this season is stuff we’ve never really dealt with before because there was always this conceit that no one believes Lucifer is the devil. But now that is common knowledge amongst some of our major characters.”
