Syfy may have pulled the plug on their planned Tremors TV series starring Kevin Bacon – the pilot episode was filmed but has still not yet been released – but that wasn’t actually the first attempt to bring the film franchise to the small screen. Back in 2003, a Michael Gross-starring “Tremors” series actually made it one full season, with 13 episodes airing in total.
“Tremors: The Series,” produced at the very same time as 2004’s direct-to-video film Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, has been released on DVD, but if you never picked up the set, you’ll be happy to hear that the official YouTube channel for the franchise has begun uploading full episodes this week. At the time of writing this, two episodes are up for streaming.
The social media team notes, “The rest will be rolling out through April and May.”
