Casting for the Misery-based second season of Hulu’s “Castle Rock” is well underway, and Deadline reports today that John Hoogenakker (Jack Ryan) has joined the cast.
“Hoogenakker will play a man with a complicated connection to Annie Wilkes.”
Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) will be returning to the world of Stephen King in Season 2, alongside Lizzy Caplan (Cloverfield) and Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade).
Caplan is playing iconic Misery character Annie Wilkes!
Series regulars also include Yusra Warsama (Assassin’s Creed: Origins), Barkhad Abdi (Blade Runner 2049), Matthew Alan (13 Reasons Why) and Paul Sparks (“House of Cards”).
