Just four months ago, CBS ordered a pilot episode of supernatural drama “Evil,“ which comes courtesy of Robert and Michelle King (“The Good Wife”).
Written and exec produced by the duo, “Evil” is a series about the battle between science and religion.
Starring “Luke Cage’s” Mike Colter and “Manhattan’s” Katja Herbers, the series focuses on a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
Now, we already have a promotional trailer that looks hella good. While there’s not much in the sense of plot, it looks in the vein of “The Exorcist” and promises plenty of death and demons. Watch for a premiere date most likely this fall.
