DC Universe’s “Swamp Thing” hasn’t merely introduced iconic characters like Alec Holland and Abby Arcane but also several other DC characters, including the Phantom Stranger and Daniel Cassidy, played by Ian Ziering. As we saw in last week’s episode, Cassidy’s “Blue Devil” suit is coming into play, and it looks like the transformation may begin this week.
Long story short, Cassidy is a Hollywood star who plays the fictional Blue Devil on screen but eventually becomes the Blue Devil himself, turning him into a reluctant superhero.

Meanwhile, Avery pressures Woodrue to deliver results, which escalates his experiments with Swamp Thing’s genetic materials and leads him to a test on Daniel Cassidy; while Lucilia Cable gets some perspective on her son’s recent actions.”
