The classic Ghostface mask is back and so too is Roger Jackson as the voice of the killer in VH1’s upcoming “Scream: Resurrection,” and we’ve got the first clip via EW today.
Similar to the iconic opening sequence of the original Scream, Paris Jackson receives a call from Ghostface in this clip, who asks the classic question: “What’s your favorite scary movie?”
And then, well, the doorbell rings…
The six-episode “Scream: Resurrection” will debut Monday, July 8 and run for two hours per night starting at 9 p.m. and running through Wednesday, July 10.
Season three centers on Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler), a local star football running back, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future … and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.
The cast also includes Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, C.J. Wallace and Giullian Yao Gioiello.
