Attention all passengers.
The series adaptation of Bong Joon Ho’s “Snowpiercer” was originally set up at TNT but moved over to TBS earlier this year, and as we recently learned, a second season has already been ordered despite the first not even airing yet. In fact, we haven’t actually even gotten a trailer for the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, but today brings our very first (super short) tease.

The first season is set to premiere in Spring 2020.
The series stars Jennifer Connelly (Dark City), Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Benjamin Haigh (The Conjuring 2), Sasha Frolova, Katie McGuinness (“Roots”), Alison Wright (“The Americans”), Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil, Oculus, Captain Fantastic), Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, and Lena Hall.
Set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the series centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. As it does, issues of class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are raised.
“Snowpiercer” is produced by Tomorrow Studios (a joint venture between Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios), along with CJ Entertainment, who produced the original film.
