AMC has announced out of Comic-Con today that spinoff series “Fear the Walking Dead” has been renewed for a sixth season, the announcement made during the show’s Hall H panel.
They also showed off the opening minutes of Season 5, Episode 8, found below.

Season 5B begins on August 11th.
“The Walking Dead,” AMC’s main series, kicks off its 10th season in October, and “Fear” will be joined by another spinoff series that’s expected to arrive sometime in 2020.
And don’t forget the upcoming made-for-TV movies, starring Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes.
In other words, “The Walking Dead” universe isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
