[Trailer] “The Witcher” Could Be Netflix’s Very Own “Game of Thrones” #SDCC
The worst monsters are the ones we create.
Henry Cavill is Geralt of Rivia in Netflix‘s “The Witcher,” based on the best-selling fantasy series and expected to debut later this year. Straight out of the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con comes the first trailer which shows Geralt alongside Yennefer and Ciri in what looks like an epic adaptation that could be Netflix’s very own “Game of Thrones”.
It was revealed during the Comic-Con panel that Cavill called daily until he landed the role over 206 other actors! He also did his own stunts and is a big fan of the games. The series promises to deliver the genre trifecta of monsters, violence, and sex.
Check out the impressive first footage:
“The Witcher” is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
