This Friday marks the season one finale of DC Universe’s “Swamp Thing,” which unfortunately means the episode will also be the *series* finale. After all, the streaming service pulled the plug on the series before the second episode even aired, so the end has been near from the very beginning. This week’s finale, needless to say, is sure to be a bittersweet conclusion.
Executive producer Mark Verheiden teased final episode “Loose Ends” over on Twitter this afternoon, writing: “Expect some resolution, some strangeness, maybe even some tears.”
He then added, “And whatever you do, STICK AROUND after the credits for… well, you’ll just have to see!”
“Loose Ends” premieres on Friday, August 2nd.
As you may recall, the final three episodes of the show’s first season were cut even before the show was cancelled, but we’ve been assured that we’re getting a proper conclusion.
